Rebecca Goodman Ph.D., ABPP-CN

Dr. Goodman is a board certified neuropsychologist by the American Board
of Professional Psychology (ABPP-CN).

For the past two years, Dr. Goodman has been working Barrington Psychiatric Center providing her expertise and forensic consultation and evaluation services to determine any cognitive or behavioral sequelae due to a neurological injury.
Dr. Goodman has devoted much of her private practice to performing  capacity assessments for elderly and developmentally disabled adults.  She often gives presentations on the topic of Elder Abuse and capacity assessments. Dr. Goodman serves on committees whose focus is on educating legal and medical/clinical experts and creating access for elders to have qualified assessments regarding conservatorships and other legal and ethical issues.

Dr. Goodman received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and completed her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University. She completed an internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago and was on staff at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara (currently known as the Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital). She is a member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
