Dr. Kelly C. O’Neill has been a clinical psychologist with the Barrington Psychiatric Center (BPC) since 2011 where she specializes Workers’ Compensation evaluations, including treatment evaluations and Qualified Medical Evaluations. She has over 15 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation evaluations and is an expert in taking thorough histories to determine causation. In addition to conducting Workers’ Compensation examinations, her work involves conducting pre-surgical psychological clearance evaluations for determining the fitness and readiness of patients to undergo various proposed surgeries such as orthopedic and bariatric procedures. She also is involved in record reviews for psychological disability cases.
Dr. O’Neill received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Psychology from California Polytechnic State University where she graduated with honors. Both her Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy was completed at Alliant University (formerly the California School of Professional Psychology). She attended Yale University School of Medicine for her Predoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology and completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship from Yale University Health Services Division of Mental Hygiene.
